End of Day Two
We had a fantastic day today hiking and canoeing. Spirits are high despite the odd rain shower. We're now back on site and looking forward to a more relaxing day tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I've had to return home due to a family issue so will not be seeing the rest of this beautiful country but I know the expedition is in safe hands and that the Scouts are going to have a fantastic time over the next few days.
I, like you, will enjoy seeing the photos and hearing about the trip when they return.

Our first Icelandic Supermarket
Just completed our first food shop - lots of carbs for the first few days! Supermarket smelt of dried fish and sulphur from the areas thermals.
